PURPOSE:
As UK Marketing Editor at Abercrombie & Kent, you will play a pivotal role in how we engage with our UK audience across every touchpoint, through innovative ideas and engaging content, managing and writing all marketing collateral from attention-grabbing e-newsletters and advertorials to high-performing print and digital campaigns.
Responsibilities
* Creating all marketing collateral for the UK to meet the needs of the business and drive enquiries, including e-newsletters, DMs, UK campaigns and advertorials.
* Monitoring travel and cultural trends to generate relevant, engaging, innovative and on-brand ideas for print and digital marketing campaigns, e-newsletters, and stories.
* Writing clean, clear, persuasive, and brand-aligned copy for newsletters, offers and campaigns.
* Generating compelling and original SEO-led ideas and writing on-brand stories, website copy, marketing copy and microcopy for to drive traffic, sales, enquiries, and boost customer engagement.
* Writing elevated, high-quality, on-brand copy about Abercrombie & Kent and our sister brands, our products and our journeys.
* Copywriting and copy-editing original and high-quality travel content, including hotel and villa overviews, trip itineraries, destination pieces.
* Collaborating with marketing and creative teams to deliver copy across campaigns, launches, and content initiatives.
* Maintaining our brand tone of voice consistently across all channels.
About You
* Five years' (min) marketing/editorial experience for a luxury brand or publication, ideally in the travel industry.
* Proven experience of creating digital copy across email, web, SEO, and paid channels and adapting content for different purposes and audiences.
* Firm understanding of SEO, and demonstrable experience of delivering great results from content.
* Complete understanding of writing and creating content for a luxury brand, able to adapt ideas and content for different platforms and audiences, and write intelligently, clearly, and authoritatively, in line with the A&K style guide.
* Excellent storytelling, copywriting and copyediting abilities, accurate and thorough, with impeccable grammar, punctuation, and attention to detail.
* Up-to-date knowledge of travel and lifestyle trends and a strong instinct for what engages and resonates with our target audience.
* Solid understanding of digital marketing principles and how copy impacts user behaviour and conversions.
* Ability to interpret complex briefs independently and collaborate effectively with other teams across the organisation, think strategically, find innovative creative solutions for commercial needs, single-handedly manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-motivated, able to work independently and see projects through from start to finish, always with the utmost attention to detail.
* Flexible, adaptable, comfortable with working at speed and under pressure, able to pivot quickly and multitask.
