We are currently looking for a full time Customer Service Administrator to join the team within our East Sussex Wheelchair Service centre based in Eastbourne. Day to day you will handle calls from our service users, family members and healthcare professionals acting as the first point of contact for any queries or orders regarding our community healthcare equipment.
As a wheelchair provider, Ross Care, we work in partnership with the NHS to supply the necessary equipment to support people in their day to day life which can make a significant impact in giving people the confidence to live more independently.
The Role
Customer Service Coordinator:
* Communication: responsible for answering daily calls and emails in a courteous/friendly manner.
* Communicate any issues with orders to the Customer Service Supervisor that are unable to be resolved by yourself to ensure effective solution/outcome in all cases.
* Scheduling/Entering/Monitoring of Orders: enter orders onto the computer system when received, and contact service users to agree suitable delivery/collection/service times.
* Schedule, update and close orders within set time frames.
* Assist with arranging appointments with clients, next of kin, carers, and suppliers.
* Deal with all queries from prescribers, service users, carers and colleagues.
* Maintain daily efficient running and administrative operations within the repair and clinical areas of the customer service.
* Ensure IT equipment is maintained and functional; safeguard your own computer.
* Provide general support as required to keep the service centre effective and to cover for other staff when absent.
Undertake the job in line with Ross Care competencies, including achieving business results, focusing on internal and external customers, teamwork, adaptability, and adherence to company policies.

About You
* Strong experience in a busy, fast-paced environment; telephone customer service experience is beneficial
* Excellent communication skills with ability to empathise; remains calm under pressure
* Administration and diary management experience is advantageous
* Professional and confident on the telephone and via email
* Good attention to detail, accuracy and multitaskingability
* Competent IT skills with the ability to learn new systems
* GCSE level or equivalent
* Enthusiastic, motivated, positive and approachable
