Welfare Van Collection Point: Grange-over-Sands, A590
Start Date: Asap
Shift Time: 19:30 start (night shift)
Pay Rate: £14.57 per hour (paye adv) pay rise in April 2026
Driver Hire Lancaster is currently recruiting for a Welfare Van Unit Driver based around Newby Bridge/ Grange-over Sands. Due to the work taking place on a work site,you will need a CSCS cardto be successful in your application.
?? Role Responsibilities:
* Collect welfare van
* Drive the welfare van to site assigned site
* Remain on-site during the shift to supervise welfare facilities (e.g., heating, seating, rest area)
* Set up lighting on the unit while on-site
* Keep the area clean, tidy, and secure throughout the shift
* Return the unit
?? Shifts:
* Ongoing Monday Friday shifts (with occasional weekends available)
* 8 Week Contract
* Finished early? Still paid for 8 hours!
? Requirements:
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Valid CSCS card
* Reliable, punctual, and friendly attitude
This contract is commutable from Grange-over-Sands, Newby Bridge, Windermere, Kendal, Ulverston and other surrounding areas. xxuwjjq
