Responsibilities:
1. Utilises CAE tools such as SolidWorks, to produce engineering information such as 3D models and assembly drawings.
2. Provide technical informational which supports procurement activities.
3. Actively participate in project planning meetings, ensuring all targets are met and recovery plans achieved.
4. Review data and documentation for customers, ensuring responses and reports are compiled accurately and timely.
5. Contribute to the development of innovative products and processes.
6. Ensure industry standards are maintained by keeping up to date on current regulations, practises, technology, and methodology.
7. Use conceptual knowledge of engineering theories, principles, and practises to complete engineering activities.
Qualifications:
8. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
9. 1-2 years’ experience gained in a manufacturing environment preferred.
10. Experience using CAD and SolidWorks essential.
11. Experience generating bills of materials, routings, assembly instructions and manuals, desirable.
12. Excellent IT skills, proficiency in Microsoft applications essential, SAP experience desired.
13. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
14. Ability to initiate action to develop better ways of working, improving processes and practises.
15. Must be customer focused, placing customer satisfaction high on list of priorities and having sound appreciation of current and future requirements of internal and external customers.
