Key Responsibilities May Include:
1. Develop and implement tax structures and strategies to support Brambles’ growth and business plans in the region, including optimizing the value of tax attributes such as losses and credits.
2. Ensure the timely filing of direct and indirect tax returns across the region, maintaining compliance with local regulations.
3. Develop, monitor, and improve tax risk management policies, and oversee audits and litigation to mitigate risks.
4. Provide high-quality, targeted tax advice to business units in the region, fostering strong relationships and supporting business expansion and restructuring initiatives.
5. Lead all tax aspects of M&A activities, including due diligence, transaction structuring, tax gain/loss analysis, and managing SPA tax covenants to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.
6. Oversee transfer pricing policies and documentation, including the negotiation and maintenance of APAs, management charges, royalties, and intercompany agreements.
7. Work with Treasury and Finance teams to optimize intercompany funding structures, ensure efficient cash repatriation, manage thin capitalization, and support broader capital management initiatives.
8. Manage and develop the regional tax team, ensuring the team is adequately resourced and skilled to deliver on corporate and business objectives.
9. Manage relationships with tax authorities, external advisers, and institutions, including lobbying and consulting on tax reforms relevant to Brambles.

🎯What We’re Looking For
10. Extensive tax experience gained in large global organisations within supply chain, FMCG, retail, or similar industries.
11. Strong VAT expertise, essential for navigating the region’s high volume of VATrelated issues.
12. Proven people leader with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a diverse team.
13. Skilled stakeholder manager, able to influence across functions and jurisdictions.
14. Communicates complex tax and technical matters clearly and simply for non‑specialists.
15. Solid grounding from Big 4 experience.
16. Holds a tax qualification; an accounting qualification is a plus (one is required).
17. Strong allround tax technical capability with a pragmatic, businessfocused approach.
