Role Summary:
Element is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Test Engineer to join our team in Hull. As a key member of the operations team, you will perform various testing assignments within the department assigned and ensure timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine and non-routine testing assignments
* Ensure timely and accurate test results
* Become familiar with test equipment functions, measurement and calibration techniques
* Maintain a technical logbook
* Record results of tests on prescribed result sheets
* Prepare test reports as laid down in procedure manual
* Interact with clients during testing to inform them of test results and request required test information
* Ensure commercial confidentiality is maintained
* Carry out other reasonable duties as directed by Department Manager – Smart Technology
Requirements:
* University degree in computing, programming, IT or equivalent work experience
* Interest in cyber security, smart energy and emerging technologies
* Experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C+
* Familiarity with Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA) processes an advantage
