We are partnering with a welcoming primary school in Radcliffe to find a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This is a full-time position, starting immediately after the October half-term, perfect for someone passionate about making a meaningful difference in a young learner’s life.
The successful candidate will work closely alongside teaching staff to deliver tailored support that meets the individual needs of the child. Your role will be crucial in fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment, helping the pupil engage fully in classroom activities and supporting their social, emotional, and educational development. You will assist with implementing personalized strategies, facilitating communication, and promoting positive behavior, ensuring the child feels safe and confident throughout the school day.
Applicants should have previous experience working in a similar role within an educational or care setting, with relevant qualifications being highly desirable. A patient, understanding attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to supporting children with ASC are essential for success in this role.
