* Hours: 37.5 hours/week; Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our close-knit team at Acorn Park School in Norwich. This role involves providing high-quality educational support aligned with company policies and regulatory standards.
Job Purpose
To deliver a high standard of education support to Service Users, adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards set by the Regulatory Body.
Responsibilities
1. Support class teachers/tutors to ensure high-quality education for all students.
2. Implement relevant education policies and procedures fully.
3. Provide appropriate support to students individually or in groups to access the curriculum independently.
4. Promote students’ physical, educational, and moral development in line with company policies.
5. Maintain and efficiently use equipment and resources, reporting issues promptly.
6. Assist in organizing classroom resources, student groupings, and displays, especially for students with autism spectrum disorder.
7. Help in writing, updating, and evaluating documentation related to individual students, such as BSP, Risk Assessments, and Education Plans.
8. Collaborate with staff to plan and ensure student safety on and off-site, based on risk assessments.
9. Create effective teaching resources as needed.
10. Contribute to the multi-professional team, fostering good working relationships.
