Procurement Lead required for public sector organisation in Greater London

WeDoData is a specialist recruitment company that focuses on non-teaching, support roles within the education sector.
We have recently partnered with a great further education college in Greater London who are looking for a full, time permanent Procurement Lead to join their organisation.
Our client is medium sized FE college located over 2 campuses who offer a wide range of academic and vocational courses to the local community and beyond.
They are well regarded in the education space and were recently graded as Good by OFSTED.
As Procurement Lead you will oversee all aspects of the procurement process, from sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships for the college.
This will involve developing and implementing strategy, taking the lead on supplier evaluation and tender processes and contract management.
Collaboration with internal teams will be key as will the ability to develop great relationships with stakeholders and external suppliers.
You will be the main point of contact for procurement. In light of this you will need proven experience in a lead role, a minimum of a level 4 CIPS qualification and previous procurement experience in a public sector environment.
Please note this role will be mainly on-site with 1 day WFH per week.
