A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced Residential Conveyancing Secretary to join a modern, progressive and expanding law firm in Rustington.
The Role and Responsibilities:
You will be working for one fee earner in the Residential Conveyancing department
Typing legal documents and correspondence
Answering the telephones and communiating with clients and all parties involved
Dealing with queries as required
Diary Management - making appointments, arranging meetings and ensuring the diary is updated as necessary
Opening, closing and maintaining matter files, in accordance with the detailed procedures contained in the office manual
Daily filing
Dealing with the storage and retrieval of client files
Preparing correspondence and enclosures for dispatch.
Must be flexible to cover other legal secretaries in the business
Skills required:
Experience in Residential or Commercial Conveyancing with the ability to hit the floor running
Must be able to prepare correspondence and documents through dictation
IT literacy
Ability to work as a team but also under your own initiative
