Job title : Welder/Fabricator Reporting line : Workshop Lead Location : Aberdeen Position Grade: G Principal Accountabilities Carry out repairs to offshore CCU’s and tanks Perform preventative maintenance tasks to improve safety and aesthetics of CCU Document trip inspection (includes electronically) Carry out visual inspection on all CCU’s (including inspection of lifting gear) Perform cutting and heating tasks by use of oxygen and acetylene Good literacy and numeracy skills. Ability to work to a high standard or workmanship. Ability to learn new skills. Work to tight deadlines in a safe and accurate manner. Ability to work unsupervised in diligent and safe manner. Qualifications and Experience Prior welding experience Certified to carry out Secondary Structure Fillet Welds (EPD016) Basic fabrication experience Numeracy & literacy Mechanical aptitude. Forklift driving (not essential) Ability to perform fabrication work to offshore standard DNV 2.7-1
