An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Garment Technologist / Product Developer to join their fast-paced and creative Babywear & Nightwear team.
Working alongside the design and production teams, you'll play a key role in developing high‑quality, compliant, and beautifully made garments - from concept to shipment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on detail, deadlines, and design collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Working on accounts such as /Primark/Tesco/Sainsburys/TKMaxx
* Manage the development process from order to shipment, ensuring products meet design intent, fit, and compliance standards.
* Create accurate size charts aligned with current fit trends and legal requirements (e.g. drawcord legislation).
* Order, track, and manage samples for fit, photography, and sign‑off.
* Approve lab dips, print strike‑offs, and embroidery layouts.
* Ensure fabric, trim, and garment testing meet industry standards.
* Work closely with factories and high street retail customers to deliver products on time.
* Maintain critical path tracking and support all stages of the approval process through online systems.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Garment Technologist or Product Developer.
* Strong understanding of fit, fabrics, testing, and compliance.
* Proficient in Excel and critical path management.
* Excellent communication and attention to detail.
* Experience in babywear or nightwear is a plus - but not essential!
