Walker Cole International is partnering with a leading Clinical Research Organisation to appoint a Commercial Director. This is a pivotal executive role responsible for driving sustainable commercial growth and shaping the organisation’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with business objectives
* Lead teams across Business Development, Commercial Operations and Marketing, driving a collaborative, high-performance culture by providing strategic and hands-on leadership including training, coaching and broader support
* Lead and oversee business development initiatives with new and existing biopharmaceutical clients, balancing proactive approaches with effective response to enquiries
* Oversee commercial delivery, including negotiation of complex agreements, value capture and financial performance management
* Direct marketing and brand positioning to enhance sponsor engagement and patient recruitment
* Inspire and lead high-performing teams across business development, marketing, and commercial operations
Ideal Profile:
* Extensive experience in senior commercial leadership within life sciences, CRO, or related sectors
* Owning and achieving annual revenue targets
* Proven success in revenue generation, strategic partnerships, and contract negotiation
* Strong understanding of clinical research frameworks and regulatory standards
* Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills
