This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the welcoming atmosphere of our educational institution, which provides co-educational day and boarding services to pupils aged 2 to 16. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Provide a professional and welcoming first impression to all visitors, parents, and pupils, both face-to-face and over the phone.Ensure efficient and professional care for all visitors, adhering to safeguarding requirements.Act as the first point of contact within the school, filtering enquiries appropriately.Manage daily pupil registers and update attendance records using the School's Management Information System (ISAMS).Maintain and report on pupil records and manage after-school activities attendance lists.Assist with the administration of buses, trips, and visits, and place orders for various school supplies.Provide administrative support across the school, including tasks like photocopying, filing, and managing communications.Ensure the reception area remains clean and tidy, and that current publications are available for visitors.Monitor central emails and ensure information is accurately forwarded to relevant staff members.Provide refreshments for visitors and assist with the administration of parent evening bookings. Required Skills & Qualifications: Smart presentation and excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with all school stakeholders.High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and proficiency in IT and spreadsheet skills, particularly Excel.Good problem-solving skills and excellent oral and written communication abilities.Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.Team player with the ability to work collaboratively and recognize the strengths of others.Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize own workload and a flexible, adaptable, hands-on approach.Support for the school's values and ethos, holding a positive view of the school's direction and provision.Resilience and the ability to manage higher workloads effectively.Minimum of five GCSEs Grade A-C or equivalent.
