Assistant Site Manager

Curve Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a highly respected and long-established main contractor in Cambridge, seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of high-quality projects across Cambridge and the surrounding areas.

Projects typically range from £1m to £15m and span sectors including commercial, education, and healthcare.
Performance Objectives
* Supporting the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of projects from start to completion
* Assisting in maintaining strict health, safety and environmental standards
* Helping drive quality control and ensuring high standards of site presentation
* Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site personnel on site
* Assisting with materials procurement, plant and site logistics
* Working closely with the wider project team to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery
Person Specification
* Previous experience within a construction site management role (Assistant Site Manager or similar)
* Experience within commercial, education or healthcare projects preferred
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving
* Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
* SMSTS or SSSTS qualification preferred
