Job Title: Year 1 Teaching Assistant - Blackburn

Responsibilities
* Supporting the Year 1 teacher in delivering lessons
* Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
* Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support
* Helping to prepare teaching materials and resources
* Supervising students during break times and outings
Qualifications
* Required: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Experience working with children in an educational setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable
* Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
* Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students
* Basic IT skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* First Aid certification
Working Conditions
* Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
* Temporary position with the possibility of extension

* All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
