Due to our continued success and increasing workloads, we currently have vacancies for directly employed Painters and Decorators throughout the Yorkshire area.
Role
Painters and Decorators – Bagnalls is a well established and highly respectable painting and decorating contractor with an impressive customer portfolio. We are a company that has a proud heritage, with over 145 years of continuous service, and uphold the highest standards of workmanship throughout our network of branches with our directly employed teams.
Essential Criteria
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent
Desirable Criteria
* Current CSCS Card
* Relevant trade experience since completing NVQ
* Driving License
You
* Motivated individual, willing to work both independently and as an active member of a team.
* Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with both colleagues and customers.
* Extremely hard working and driven, with a determination to get things done to the best of your ability safely.
* A great team worker, very reliable and punctual with a positive can-do attitude.
Pay
Basic salary and conditions are in line with the Working Rule Agreement. We also pay a weekly performance related bonus and pay travel time and expenses.
Average pay is over £16 per hour, for a typical 40 hour working week. Bagnalls also add the provision of 31 days paid Holiday per year, at an average daily rate of the previous earnings per day. This can add from £3,200 per year.
Weekend and evening/night shifts will involve greater recompense, again, depending on location, working hours and project requirements.
