 
        
        A well-established manufacturer in South Wales is looking to add an experienced CNC Setter to its machining team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering long-term stability and the chance to work on high-spec components used in demanding global industries. 
You ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts to tight tolerances. Working from technical drawings, you ll ensure each job is completed accurately, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. 
Working on a rotating 3 shift pattern (mornings, afternoons, and nights), Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
Set up and run CNC lathes and/or milling machines
Interpret engineering drawings and follow detailed work instructions
Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for each job
Carry out first-off and in-process inspections
Adjust machine settings to optimise performance and output
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health and safety procedures
Experience:
Previous experience in a CNC setting role within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of machining processes and tool selection
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Familiarity with Fanuc and Num controls is essential; experience with Mazatrol would be a bonus
A methodical approach and good problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider production team
