Job role: Dental Receptionist
Practice: Alpha Dental Care Bridge Street
Location: 4a Bridge Street, Morpeth, NE61 1NB
Position: Saturday Only 08:50 - 16:50
Salary: £12.71 p.h.

A Dental Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients, playing a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. They are responsible for greeting patients, managing appointment bookings, handling phone and email enquiries, and maintaining accurate patient records. The role also involves processing payments, coordinating with the dental team, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area. Strong communication, organisational skills, and a friendly, approachable manner are essential for delivering excellent patient care and supporting an efficient practice.


Responsibilities

* Greet and welcome patients in a professional manner.
* Manage appointment bookings and cancellations.
* Handle phone and email enquiries promptly and accurately.
* Maintain accurate patient records and data entry.
* Process payments and liaise with the dental team to support daily operations.
* Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area.


Qualifications

* Receptionist experience, ideally within a clinical setting.
* Maths/English GCSE or equivalent.
* Strong customer and patient care orientation.
