Twenty4Seven Education is seeking a hardworking, flexible and reliable Teaching Assistant to work within a fantastic, caring and inclusive ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated mainstream Primary School in Birchington. This wonderful full-time opportunity is to start ASAP on a long-term basis.
You will work alongside dedicated staff to support children with various needs and abilities in different key stages across the school.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide personalised 1:1 and/or small group support to reinforce learning expectations
2. Help provide a safe, engaging and productive learning environment
3. Support students in managing their behaviour and regulating their emotions following the school behaviour policy
4. Maintain clear and professional communication with other colleagues, professionals and parents/carers regarding student progress, well-being and any arising issues
5. Assist in preparing teaching materials and classroom resources
6. Keep accurate records of student activities, progress and behaviour
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Minimum Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
2. Experience working with children within an educational setting or similar (minimum of 3 months of experience)
3. Child DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one (Twenty4Seven Education can assist you with this process)
4. You can demonstrate a patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to working with children
5. You have excellent communication and teamwork skills
6. You are committed to creating a supportive learning environment
