Key Responsibilities
* Delivering Engaging Lessons - Plan and teach exciting and interactive lessons tailored to meet the needs of Year 2 students, ensuring high engagement and progress.
* Creating a Positive Learning Environment - Establish a warm and nurturing classroom atmosphere where every child feels confident, valued, and encouraged to succeed.
* Assessing & Tracking Progress - Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to support individual learning needs.
* Collaborating with Staff & Parents - Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and maintain strong communication with parents to support children's learning at home.
* Supporting Wellbeing & Development - Encourage independence, resilience, and curiosity in your students, helping them develop essential life skills alongside academic success.
Ideal Candidate
* Passionate About Teaching - Dedicated to creating a fun, engaging, and high-quality learning experience for Year 2 pupils.
* Experienced in KS1 - Previous experience teaching Year 2 or a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
* Creative & Adaptable - Able to deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
* A Team Player - Enjoys collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive school community.
* Excellent at Communication - Skilled at building strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
