Children's Residential Support Worker - EBD
Location: Stoke on TrentSalary: £29,752 - £34,331 (DOE + sleep-ins + qualifications) Job Type: Temporary to Permanent - Full-time | Shifts including evenings, weekends & sleep-ins

A bit about the role:
Every day is different. Some days are tough. But every day, you'll be doing something that really matters.
You'll:
* Be a calm, steady presence in a child's life when they need it most
* Supporting children with daily routines-school, meals, homework, activities
* Use a trauma-informed approach to help them feel safe, understood, and valued
* Help young people manage their emotions and behaviours in a positive, respectful way
* Working as part of a close-knit team that's got each other's backs and works together to give children the best care possible
* Keeping the home tidy, safe, and a place to be proud of
* Writing reports and logs to help keep things running smoothly and safely
You'll need:
* Life experience from any background - we'll provide full training!
* A calm, caring and reliable personality
* Willingness to learn about trauma-informed care (don't worry, we'll teach you)
* A full UK driving licence and be over the age of 21
* Willingness to work shifts, including sleep-ins

A few more things:
* We usually work around 11 day shifts (8am-11pm) per month, and 7-10 sleep-ins
* We'll support you through your Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare if you don't already have it
