Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Primary Phase)
Part-time, Permanent
Working Hours: 32.5 per week (Mon to Fri 8:15am to 3:45pm)
Salary: AAT D - £26,393 - £27,713 per annum FTE ((£20,117.53-£21,123.68 pro rata to part time hours)
Required to start: ASAP
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant of exceptional ability to join our team to work in the primary phase of this over-subscribed and successful all through school.

To be successful in this post, you will need:
4. Previous experience of working with children in Primary school.
5. A desire to lead learning across the whole primary phase
6. A personal high standard of maths and literacy skills with a secure understanding of English grammar
7. An understanding of using assessment for learning to enable pupils to make progress
8. An understanding of the maths mastery approach
9. To be enthusiastic and highly organised about all aspects of classroom operation
10. Have high expectations of both pupils and yourself
11. To be self-motivated and show creativity when adapting learning to meet the needs of individuals or small groups of children
12. A belief in inclusion, diversity and the right of each child to be successful whatever their needs, abilities and background
13. To be able to demonstrate our Christian values
14. To be able to inspire, motivate and foster excellent relationships, working in partnership with staff, parents, governors and our wider community
15. Good interpersonal skills, a sense of humour and the ability to work as part of a hard-working, enthusiastic, supportive and committed team
