CATERING ASSISTANT

Hours: 8.00am – 2.30pm (30 mins for lunch break, unpaid)
Working Pattern: ideally Monday – Friday but there is flexibility on working days;
Term Time plus one week for INSET days (total of 39 weeks)

Main Duties
1. Assist in the hygienic preparation, delivery, and/or serving of meals and ensuring the kitchen and equipment is cleaned to a high standard
2. Daily cleaning of kitchen
3. Monitor fridge stock rotation
4. Prepare meals on time
5. Assist with receipt and storage of groceries
6. Comply with health and safety, fire regulations and other policies
7. Attend relevant training courses
