Job Title: Funeral Service Operative
Location: Bo'ness
Salary: GBP28,800 per annum / GBP2,400 per Month
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Thomas Cuthell & Sons are the longest established independent Funeral Directors in Forth Valley and are currently recruiting for a Funeral Service Operative based at our Bo'ness Funeral Home.
The post requires commitment to on call rota requiring 24hr availability, on a one in four-week rotation. A retainer is paid in addition to overtime rate for additional hours worked.
Role Responsibilities
* Caring for the deceased
* Washing of vehicles
* Furnishing Coffins
* Assisting on funerals
* Assisting the memorial erection department
Role Requirements:
* The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of the position; therefore, experience is not necessary but will be considered an advantage
* The position requires commitment to an on-call rota system involving weekend and through the night call outs
* Full driving licence is essential
* DBS clearance required
