Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with Express Engineering, a leading Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer based in the North East, to support with their search for an experienced New Product Introduction Engineer.
Key Duties:
Assisting in coordinating new product launch activities and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure planned tasks are completed on time and align with quality, performance, and cost expectations.
Helping to develop and maintain product launch plans, including tracking phase progress, managing documentation, and supporting reporting on status and actions.
Contributing to complex manufacturing and NPI projects by providing technical support, gathering data, and facilitating collaboration between internal stakeholders - taking projects from pre-award stage through to completion.
Acting as a key internal point of contact for project updates and queries, supporting communication between engineering, production, supply chain, and other relevant departments.
Supporting the assessment of manufacturing capacity and capability for new products, assisting in the planning and procurement of necessary equipment, tooling, or process changes.
Organising and documenting project meetings, tracking progress against schedules, highlighting potential delays and suggesting corrective actions to the project lead or manager.
Preparing data and summaries for internal project status reviews, contributing to presentations for senior leadership when required.Key Requirements:
Have relevant experience in manufacturing, engineering, or product development environments.
Have a proven track record of supporting new product introductions from concept through to production.
Be experienced working in cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, quality, operations, etc.).
Preferably a from a precision CNC and welding background, with the ability to read engineering drawings.The Package:
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
Monday-Thursday 7:30AM-4:30PM, Friday 7:30AM-1:30PM.
