Responsibilities of a Psychology Lecturer:
* Working in the Social Sciences Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet standards of work
* Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the college as required
* Delivery of A level Psychology, Sociology, and Criminology
Core Purpose:
* To teach students assigned to the teacher and to ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs
* To contribute to raising standards of student attainment
* To monitor and assess student progress to improve their quality of learning and personal growth
* To undertake the duties of a Form Tutor when required, in accordance with the role description
* To undertake the duties and responsibilities specified by the current STPC document
Requirements of a Psychology Lecturer:
* A UK-recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent
* Experience of delivering the subject
* A social sciences-related degree is essential
* A current DBS check
