A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Cover Supervisor to join a well-regarded secondary school in Andover. This is a full-time, long-term position starting immediately, running until June 2026, with a strong likelihood of further extension for the right candidate.

The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into classrooms during teacher absence, ensuring lessons run smoothly and students remain engaged in their learning. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, manage classroom behaviour, and support pupils across a range of subjects and year groups.
While lesson planning and marking are not required, you will play a key role in maintaining a positive learning environment and upholding the school’s high expectations. Confidence, adaptability, and strong communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans in the teacher’s absence
Maintain a calm, respectful, and purposeful classroom environment
Encourage student engagement and positive behaviour
Provide support to pupils where appropriate
Supervise classes across different subjects and year groups
