Job Title: Casual Exam Access Arrangements (EAA) AssessorLocation: NorthamptonContract Type: Casual / Hourly PaidStart Date: Anticipated between September and December 2025£17.19 per hourWe are currently seeking a committed and knowledgeable Exam Access Arrangements Assessor to join our Learning Support Team on a casual basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing and coordinating exam access arrangements, working closely with learners, families, schools, and internal teams to ensure students with additional needs receive the support and adjustments they require.Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out assessments for students referred through the EAA process
* Complete JCQ-compliant documentation, including Form 8s, Form 9s, file notes, and GDPR consent forms
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments and decisions
* Liaise with the SEND Coordinator and other internal stakeholders to support learner needs
* Promote and demonstrate the use of assistive technology to encourage learner independence
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* In-depth knowledge of SEND and an understanding of exam access arrangements in line with JCQ regulations
* Strong awareness of the SEND Code of Practice and the duties on mainstream FE providers
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
* Empathetic, flexible, and committed to supporting a wide range of learner needs
* Holds a Certificate in Psychometric Testing (CPT3A) or Level 7 qualification in Dyslexia/SpLD (as per current JCQ requirements)
* Experience conducting exam access assessments and working within FE or a similar education environment
