Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a background in roofing and cladding? We’re working with a well-established and respected contractor looking to appoint a dedicated professional to join their team and lead the successful delivery of diverse construction projects. Location: Bradford (Office/Site-Based with Hybrid Working Options) Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Salary: Competitive, based on experience Travel: Site visits required – Full UK driving licence essential About the Company: With over two decades of expertise, this company specialises in roofing and cladding solutions across a wide range of sectors including industrial, commercial, education, healthcare, and public buildings. Known for their quality, technical expertise, and collaborative approach, they offer innovative solutions for new builds, refurbishments, and repairs using various systems such as flat roofing, rainscreen cladding, and industrial finishes. The Role: As Contracts Manager, you’ll take ownership of multiple projects from award through to final completion—delivering them on time, within budget and to a consistently high standard. Working closely with internal teams (Estimators, QS, Buyers) and external stakeholders, you’ll manage the entire project lifecycle including pre-construction planning, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and client liaison. Key Responsibilities: * Lead planning, programming, and resourcing for all assigned projects * Appoint and manage designers, subcontractors, and labour teams * Coordinate and control project costs with the QS, ensuring commercial success * Oversee site delivery with a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance * Build and maintain strong client relationships * Maintain programme progress and proactively manage risks and issues * Ensure effective close-out of snagging and defect resolution About You: * Proven experience in managing roofing and cladding projects * Strong understanding of construction methodologies and health & safety standards * Confident communicator and effective team leader * Comfortable with Microsoft Office and project planning tools * SMSTS and CSCS card required * Additional qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 6, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness) advantageous * Full UK driving licence essential What’s On Offer: * A supportive and professional working environment * Opportunity to work on varied and technically interesting projects * Flexibility with hybrid working * Long-term career development with a growing business If you’re looking to take the next step in your contracts management career with a dynamic and respected contractor, we want to hear from you!
