As a People Operations & Talent Partner at Upwind, you will own and lead the People and Talent function for our Belfast site. This is a hybrid, hands-on role combining People Operations, HR administration, office/site administration, and end-to-end recruitment. You will serve as a trusted partner to employees, hiring managers, and leadership, playing a key role in building the local team, shaping the employee experience, and supporting the site's growth from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
* Support our recruitment efforts by: screening resumes, conducting phone interviews and scheduling interviews.
* Provides day-to-day operational HR support to managers and employees locally
* Supports with any in-person office events as and when requested
* Engage with candidates through personalized outreach and effectively communicate the company's values and opportunities while creating a great candidate experience.
* Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and other team members.
* Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing necessary information, timely communication, and a welcoming atmosphere.
* Assist in the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
* Contribute to the development and execution of employer branding initiatives.ֿ
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field experience.
* 3+ years of experience in a hybrid People Operations / HR / Talent role, preferably in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment.
* Hands-on experience managing HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle management, and HR administration.
* Hands-on experience in technical recruitment (R&D, Product, Data/Analytics roles).
* Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills, a true people-person with a positive, can-do attitude.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through in a constantly changing environment.
* Fluent English — both written and verbal.
* Experience working with Comeet (ATS)- an advantage.
