Pay rate – £27.56 per hour (4 days per week – 30 hours) Contract – Temporary Gateshead Council are currently recruiting experienced children’s Social Workers for their Front Door team. This is a 4-day post in the front door team. The primary role is office-based processing contact/referrals into the service. The role does include some immediate response work and will require flexibility in working hours when required. Children’s Social Workers will need at least 3 years’ permanent experience with an English local authority and to be registered with Social Work England, as per DfE rules.
