    Mental Health Support Worker

    Newbury, £ – £ per hour

    Role Overview

    We are seeking experienced and compassionate Mental Health Support Workers to join our team in Newbury, providing high-quality support to adults with mental health issues. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals to manage their mental health, overcome challenges, and achieve their goals. Your experience in the health and social care sector, combined with your common sense and ability to work flexibly, will enable you to make a positive impact on the lives of our service users.

    Key Responsibilities

    Your key responsibilities will include providing emotional support, assisting with daily living tasks, and helping individuals to access community resources and services. You will also work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalised support plans, tailored to the unique needs and goals of each service user. Experience of working with housing issues, benefits, and key working is highly desirable, although not essential. Your ability to work flexibly, think creatively, and respond to the changing needs of the residents will be essential in this role.

    Required Skills & Experience

    To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of working in the health and social care sector, preferably with adults who have mental health issues. You will also need to have good ongoing regular availability, be able to work flexibly, and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality support. Common sense, a non-judgmental approach, and a willingness to learn and develop your skills will also be essential.
