About the Client:
Interaction Technical has partnered with a growing, world-leading manufacturer of agricultural engineering equipment to support the expansion of their engineering team. Due to business growth, our client is looking to add skilled plant and agricultural field service engineers to their rapidly expanding team to maintain, repair, and service a variety of agricultural machinery.
The Package:
1. 32 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing with service
2. Overtime after 37.5 hours paid at 1.5x midweek, 2x on Sundays and bank holidays
3. Plenty of overtime available per week (average availability is 15-20 hours)
4. Minimum (5 hours): Additional £5,850 per annum
5. Average (15 hours): Additional £17,550 per annum
6. Holiday overtime pay – paid in May (£1,500 paid last year)
7. Ongoing commitment to training and progression
8. Pension scheme – 3% employee minimum, 8% employer
9. Company van, fuel card, mobile phone, etc.
10. All travel time and expenses paid from home to/from site
11. Excellent earning potential with opportunities for progression
Key Responsibilities:
12. Accurately diagnose faults, service, and perform emergency repairs/breakdowns on agricultural machinery (tractors, combines, etc.)
13. Travel to customer sites to ensure all machinery is maintained and repaired to the highest quality
14. Perform diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical faults on agricultural and horticultural machinery
15. Work independently at customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure proper documentation and solutions
16. Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics, and perform mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs
17. Liaise with clients to diagnose faults and find solutions
Requirements:
18. Previous experience working with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems (essential)
19. Previous experience in the agricultural industry (essential)
20. Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience (advantageous)
21. Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous)
22. Relevant qualifications (NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering) are advantageous
23. Full UK driver's license
