Field based Key Account Manager for Gastroenterology- Norway

This position is home‑based in the Oslo area, with occasional use of our small Oslo office for logistics and meeting facilities. You will receive ongoing support from your Nordic colleagues through both virtual collaboration and regular in‑person gatherings.
Each year, we host: two major Nordic sales conferences, and quarterly "pitstop" meetings designed to align strategy, share insights, and strengthen the Nordic team culture.

Your day at Ferring- Tasks where you are accountable
You will be responsible for driving sales of our gastroenterology portfolio across all of Norway. Your key stakeholders will include gastroenterologists, specialist nurses, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and other clinical decision-makers within the gastroenterology therapy area.
We are looking for an innovative, solutions-oriented professional who is curious, proactive, and entrepreneurial. You thrive on creating new opportunities, challenging conventional approaches, and building strong, long‑term relationships that support both patient outcomes and business growth.
Your task will be:
* Engage healthcare professionals—including gastroenterologists, specialist nurses, KOLs and payers—by providing scientific and product-related information aligned with brand strategies and share relevant local insights with internal stakeholders.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders, identifying and developing local experts and supporting their participation in relevant national and international congresses in close collaboration with Medical, Market Access, and Marketing teams.
* Act as the local healthcare business expert, understanding the national environment, prioritizing hospital accounts, and identifying key decision-makers to drive growth in your territory.
* Monitor market dynamics, including opportunities, risks, tender activity, new product launches, cost containment initiatives, and potential Health Authority directions affecting prescribing.
* Plan and execute territory activities such as congress involvement, speaker engagements, and clinical sessions—always in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
* Regularly review and update your KAM plan to ensure progress toward account objectives and strategic priorities.
* Operate at all times in full compliance with national laws, ethical guidelines, and company procedures.

You will build strong relationships with key gastro specialists, drive proactive customer activities, and prioritize high‑value clinics through a structured visit plan. As these efforts gain momentum, you will be expected to deliver early sales impact and support the growth of the gastro portfolio.
The skills you need to have:
* Solid experience in field‑based pharmaceutical sales in Norway, preferably within hospital settings.
* Gastroenterology experience is a strong advantage.
* Proven ability to build and expand relationships with medical doctors, KOLs, and other key clinical stakeholders.
* A university degree in life sciences is preferred (strong experience can compensate).
* Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with excellent time‑management abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and experience using CRM on iPad
* Experience with digital customer engagement, such as webinars or virtual meetings; digital marketing experience is a plus.
