Job description
We are seeking an experienced Account Director who has a track record in nurturing client relationships, is commercially astute and able to work proactively to explore multiple opportunities.
The role will be focussed predominantly on managing a portfolio of existing clients as well as any new onboarded clients, the candidate will be the main point of contact and be expected to co-ordinate across the business to service the clients effectively.
The Account Director will be focussed on maximising revenue from existing clients, identifying cross selling opportunities where required, maintaining a solid relationship is key to everything they do.
Responsibilities
Maintain and grow relationships with existing and new clients to maximise revenue.
Manage the end-to-end tendering process working with clients and suppliers.
Handle customer queries either directly or liaising with other team members to resolve issues.
Be able to present complex solutions in a simple and clear way. Ensuring that clients know they are in expert hands throughout.
Commercial responsibility, there must be a commercial focus applied to this role.
Skills & Experience
3+ years experience within an energy supplier or TPI
Problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage your own workload and cope well under pressure
Proven track record of building customer relationships
Self-Driven – Ability to own the role and deliver results
Forward Thinking / Challenger – We want the Account Director to make the role their own
Experienced at presenting to board level and to business owners
