About the role
We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher educator who will join the team as a tutor on the PGCE programme, engaging in relevant teaching, supervision, and assessment of Student Teachers, visiting schools based in London on a regular basis, and being involved in the Secondary PGCE programme initially.
Versatility to work across more than one programme will be considered an advantage. The role includes supporting the Subject Lead in providing excellent provision in the broad field of Languages within ITE.

About you
The successful candidate must have a degree in a relevant subject (Spanish/French/German), Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent), and substantial teaching experience in secondary education and Languages. Familiarity with London schools and the Teachers Standards is essential, especially experience working with early-stage teachers to support their progress. Experience leading teams of teachers is also required.
