Are you an experienced Front of House Supervisor?
I am currently recruiting for a Front of House Supervisor for a prestigious site in Enfield.
You will be required to work 5 out of 7 days including some weekends. They are looking for a candidate who is fully flexible. Some evenings may be required when busy. It will be a mix of early and later finishes.
This is a 5* site, so professionality is key at all times.
DBS is required, but don't worry, if you don't have one, we can get one for you.
This position is available on a temp to perm or straight perm for the right candidate.
Job Outline:
To manage the Catering Front of House team, coordinate and make sure all staff are following all standards and procedures performing 5* customer service.
Kitchen Duties:
The main day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
* To assist the Front Of House Manager in setting up and maintaining standards and procedures
* To assist the FoH Manager with implementing and streamlining training for all staff
* To actively assist the Catering team at all times to ensure best possible service for all external and internal clients.
* To follow all standards and procedures
* To up-keep the general kitchen area.
* To ensure all catering areas are tidy, including kitchens stocked and correctly set up if applicable.
* To do regular routine room checks.
* To complete daily tasks and duties.
Office Duties:
The main day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
* To carry out any office work on request
* To assist the Manager in any office work that may be needed
* To complete all Food Safety paperwork
People Management:
The main day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
* To assess employee performance and recognise training needs and potential as appropriate.
* To ensure training is carried out in line with the company training policy to meet the needs and requirements of the individual and BaxterStorey.
* To ensure that all employees are knowledgeable and motivated about their roles and the business through effective induction, accurate job descriptions and on the job training.
* To carry out disciplinary procedures following company guidelines and standards.
* To develop the team by empowering them, supporting them, encouraging them and maintaining an open door policy.
* To motivate and lead by example, ensuring you and your team have fun at work and are proud of your efforts.
* To monitor the development and progress of key staff at location in order to make recommendations and appointments for succession planning.
* To treat your team at location as you would expect to be treated.
* To ensure that regular team meetings are carried out.
