We're looking for a Customer Solution Design Practitioner to design secure, high‑performance technology solutions for enterprise and public sector customers. You'll work within a collaborative technical design environment, delivering solutions that support critical services and large‑scale digital transformation programmes.
What you'll be doing
Designing technology solutions that meet time, cost, quality, and security requirements
Producing component‑level technical designs aligned to governance standards
Collaborating with solution designers and technical specialists on end‑to‑end solutions
Managing technical and commercial risks and engaging with senior stakeholders
Presenting and explaining design decisions, technical approaches, and business outcomes
Identifying opportunities for optimisation, cross‑sell, and continuous improvement
Supporting innovation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring within the wider design team
What we're looking for
Experience in technical design or solution delivery within complex environments
Strong knowledge of networking technologies (routing, switching, and data centre)
Experience with Cisco platforms (ISR, Catalyst, Nexus, NX‑OS) and protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLAN, VXLAN, VRF)
Understanding of datacentre architecture, F5 technologies, and enterprise connectivity
Ability to manage risk independently and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
Commercial awareness and understanding of SLAs and customer business impact
Eligibility for NPPV3 clearance and willingness to work in a hybrid environment
