Salary: £27,000 - 30,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a confident telephone manner and clear written English. We need solid working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Teams. We require a basic understanding of Active Directory or Entra ID concepts. We expect comfort troubleshooting common end user issues. We value patience under pressure and reliability in attending scheduled shifts. We require the right to work in the United Kingdom. Previous MSP service desk experience is desirable. Hands-on experience with PSA platforms such as Halo, HaloPSA, ConnectWise, Autotask, Atera, Syncro, ServiceDesk Plus, or Freshservice is desirable. A CompTIA A, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or similar qualification is desirable. A call centre, contact centre, or customer service background is desirable. Responsibilities: We answer inbound calls from end users at our MSP partners clients. We resolve most issues directly while speaking with the caller. We log and pass unresolved cases to partner engineers with complete and accurate information. We handle password resets and account unlocks. We carry out MFA resets and re-enrolment support. We create accounts and make basic permission or security group changes. We perform PC reboots and other basic first-line troubleshooting. We resolve Outlook profile issues, signature changes, and missing email problems. We clear printer queues, change default printers, and reinstall basic drivers. We troubleshoot monitor, dock, and peripheral problems. We clear browser cache issues and help with password manager unlocks. We assist with VPN reconnects and basic Teams and Zoom issues. We work in PSA platforms and receive full training on the systems we use. We support hundreds of UK businesses across legal, professional services, e-commerce, trades, and IT, and our IT support desk works white label for UK Managed Service Providers. We are Cyber Essentials certified and hold ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 accreditations.
