We’re looking for a founding sales lead to hit the ground running and help us develop our MSSP future (helping us build the approach, not just execute it)

For 20+ years, NetThreat has been known as a specialist in network security – particularly around next‑gen firewalls and related solutions for UK businesses and resellers.

We’re now at the start of a deliberate transition from traditional VAR to Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP).

We have:

* A clear vision of where we want to get to - delivering “peace of mind” through tailored, managed security for SMEs.
* A sizeable existing customer base that has never been proactively developed or engaged around services.
* Early MSSP-style offerings taking shape – but lots still to refine in terms of packaging, pricing and go‑to‑market.

What we don’t have yet is a proactive sales function. Historically, we’ve largely responded to inbound enquiries and renewals.

So we’re looking for an experienced B2B security salesperson who wants to do more than just run a territory:

* Someone who’s happy to roll up their sleeves, taking the lead on incoming opportunities and talking to our existing customers about existing opportunities and where we could take our service offering.
* Someone who’s curious and commercial enough to use those conversations to help us shape and validate what our MSSP proposition and sales motion should actually look like.
* Someone who, over time, wants to build the sales system and team around them as we move from “planning” into full execution.

This won’t suit everyone. There’s no huge sales team to inherit, and no perfect playbook waiting on day one. Right now, it’s you, us, strong relationships with vendors and a lot of opportunity.

* Have solid experience selling security / managed services B2B, ideally including MSP/MSSP or VAR → MSSP transition, and
* Like the idea of being the person who helps write the story and design the commercial side of that transition…
