Domestic Considerations: An FTRS (HC) appointment that attracts no X-factor pay nor any Home to duty travel. Nights Out Of Bed (NOOB)/Separated Service (SS) is not expected and purely conducted on a voluntary basis by the position incumbent. Any unit visit will be conduct during the working day which may include extended hours. T&S will be granted IAW current Army policy IOT support official working events and visits. Place of work is to be based at RHQ REME; this post will require the incumbent to work at MoD Lyneham, desked in RHQ REME planning office throughout the working week. It is stressed that Incumbents will be required to support wider apprenticeship programme activity as required. Position Role: The Apprenticeships REME WO Education is responsible for ensuring that all REME Apprenticeships have accurate curricula, delivery models, comprehensive syllabuses, and relevant educational support materials readily available to the Field Force Chain of Command (CoC) and learners to effectively guide them through their apprenticeship learning journeys. They are tasked with monitoring, evaluating, and implementing continuous improvement measures to ensure that apprenticeship products, processes, and services meet the standards and expectations of the REME Apprenticeship Programme. Additionally, they will serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between Lyneham-based REME organisations (DSEME, SEAE, LWC RST, Course Design teams, etc.) and act as the employer representative for all learners undertaking ‘Off the Job’ training, such as Initial Trade Training (ITT) courses. Responsibilities: 1. Work with the Service Provider to set Curriculums, Delivery Models and Syllabuses for all REME Apprenticeships; ensuring that all units have access and that curriculum changes are correctly communicated. 2. Ensure that they are a Skills England Trailblazer member for all Apprenticeship Standards that REME enrol soldiers on to. They are to ensure that an additional CEG SME is representing REME on each Trailblazing group. They are to coordinate correct REME attendance of all set Trailblazing meetings and to collate REME influencing input and suggestions; ensuring that it is put forward. 3. To attend all REME Apprenticeship inductions/enrolments and ‘Off the Job’ Progress Reviews. 4. Coordinate the introduction of new Apprenticeship Standards as directed by the REME CAL. 5. Aligned to each apprenticeship standard Apprenticeship Assessment (AA) criteria work with AA Organisations (AAO) and the Service Provider to correctly interpret, define and align mutual AA expectations IOT successfully deliver AAs. This is to be continually monitored to mitigate against standards creep. 6. Deliver Field Force training and informative presentation on the learning content and sequence of learning for all REME Apprenticeships. 7. Coordinate the professional development of the REME Apprenticeship support team; running an imaginative training programme to keep the REME Apprenticeship team alive to and informed on programme and apprenticeship changes. They are to monitor and manage the team’s completion of Individual Training Requirements (ITRs). 8. Support the CAL to deliver apprenticeship briefings and training to the REME Arms School Cses; MSEC, LE, Capts and Artificer Cses.
