We are seeking an organised, proactive and people-focused Executive Assistant (EA) to provide high-quality administrative support to our Senior Leadership Team (SLT). You will directly support the Deputy Chief Fire Officer and the Assistant Director of People Services, working closely with the wider EA team to ensure seamless, consistent support.
This is a key role enabling our leaders to focus on delivering the Service’s strategic priorities and on what matters most – delivering the best possible service to the public. You will play an important part in representing the SLT, so we are looking for someone who works with professionalism and a genuine sense of responsibility, integrity and a commitment to our Purpose and Values is essential.
This role offers some flexibility in where you work, including our Shared Headquarters in Lewes, homeworking and from other ESFRS locations as required to support the needs of SLT.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide professional, reliable support to SLT members.
* Coordinate and manage workloads effectively within the EA framework, enabling senior leaders to focus on strategic priorities.
* Support Strategic Boards through effective collation and coordination of information, monitoring corporate assurance and performance.
* Contribute to improved systems, processes and ways of working.
