We are currently seeking a dynamic Removals Porter, to work as part of a team handling customers moves from their branch in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who want to start their career in removals and progress to be an experienced packer or porter.
What youll do:
As part of a team, youll be responsible for delivering great customer service as you move our customers from / to their homes. You will be professionally trained to pack, wrap, load and unload furniture and heavy goods. This is a physically demanding role but its varied and satisfying. This is a highly personal service, delivered in our customers homes, so expect lots of customer interaction, and to be part of a highly motivated team.
What you need:
Youll need a good level of fitness and excellent communication skills, being someone who enjoys interacting with the public. Most important is enthusiasm, reliability, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to providing the best service to customers.
Why youll love this role:
If you want to develop further, you can opt to train as an LGV Driver. Our client will provide full driver training to ensure you achieve your LGV and CPC licence. You will be trained to drive a 7.5 tonne removals vehicle and to manage and lead your own removals team.
This is a full AEUR time permanent role with 25 days paid annual leave (in addition to bank holidays) and real opportunities for career progression.
