The Role You will be responsible for delivering plant equipment, on a low loader to building sites across the UK. Must be confident in loading unloading and securing plant equipment Key Responsibilities: 2-5 deliveries/collections per day nationwide Loading and unloading of plant equipment Start times between 04:00-06:00, Monday to Friday X1 night out per week Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations Adhering to all health and safety standards, The Highway Code, and vehicle regulations Completing regular vehicle checks Keeping vehicles in clean condition Requirements Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence Driver CPC Qualification Digital Tachograph Card Low loader experience (preferred) Experience using straps/chains to secure loads (advantageous) Pay & Benefits £18.00 per hour £27.00 per hour after 8 hours worked per day 28 days paid holiday (accrued) Weekly pay Long-term opportunities possibility of permanent for right candidate Company pension scheme Staff insurance If you are a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver looking for stable weekday work with excellent pay rates, we want to hear from you.
