Overview
WeComm is recruiting for a Chief Technology Officer to lead the brand’s technology function and support its omnichannel retail, international expansion and digital transformation strategies. This role partners with an owner of premium and luxury products offered at affordable price-points, with omnichannel access to products from over 150 brands, 200+ physical stores, and a growing digital offering.
The Brand

The Role
The Chief Technology Officer will lead the brand’s technology function, overseeing Digital Infrastructure, eCommerce Platforms, Data Systems and Emerging Tech that powers business growth and customer experience. With responsibility for enterprise-wide technology strategy and innovation, the CTO will build scalable, secure and customer-first systems to support the brand’s omnichannel retail, international expansion and digital transformation strategies.
Responsibilities
* Lead the technology function and define the long-term technology roadmap that aligns with commercial, digital and customer experience goals.
* Act as a strategic partner to executive leaders across Retail, Digital, Marketing & Product functions.
* Lead development and evolution of digital platforms including eCommerce sites, mobile apps, CRM systems, and loyalty tools.
* Oversee core IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and data governance.
* Build and lead data analytics and BI capabilities to inform decisions in marketing, supply chain, retail, and product.
* Embed a data-first culture and tools across departments to drive efficiency and insights.
* Build and lead high-performing cross-functional tech teams (engineering, IT, product management, digital delivery).
* Oversee relationships with key tech providers (e.g. Shopify, Salesforce, ERP vendors), managing contract negotiations, integrations and performance metrics across platforms.
* Identify and implement technology solutions that elevate customer experience and operational agility.
Qualifications (The Person)
* Demonstrable experience within the retail industry, in a Technology Leadership capacity.
* Defining and delivering a long-term technology roadmap that aligns to commercial, digital and customer experience goals.
* Acting as a strategic partner to executive leaders across Retail, Digital, Marketing & Product functions.
* Experience leading development of digital platforms including eCommerce sites, mobile apps, CRM systems, and loyalty tools.
