About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Support & Compliance Administrator to provide essential support to both operations and compliance functions within a busy logistics environment. This role combines customer service responsibilities with structured compliance administration duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Operations
* Act as a central point of contact between customers and internal teams
* Handle delivery and collection enquiries professionally
* Accurately input jobs using transport management systems, including booking loads and updating instructions
* Manage proof of delivery (POD) requests, confirmations, and discrepancies
* Liaise with drivers, planners, and warehouse staff to resolve service issues
* Support customers with re-deliveries, delays, and general service enquiries
* Monitor job progress and provide timely updates to customers
Compliance & Administration
* Maintain and update compliance records and controlled documentation
* Assist with preparation for audits, accreditations, and internal reviews
* Support data collection for ISO, FORS, Health & Safety, and transport compliance
* Contribute to compliance reporting and continuous improvement activities
(Full training will be provided for compliance processes and systems)
What We're Looking For
* Experience in customer support, administration, logistics, or a transport-related environment
* Strong communication skills and professional approach
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office setting
* Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Experience in logistics or regulated environments and familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO, FORS) is advantageous but not essential
