The Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individual pupils and small groups within the classroom and during interventions. Working closely with teachers and the SENCO, you will help deliver personalised learning activities that meet pupils’ EHCP targets and support their social and emotional development.
Responsibilities

Supporting pupils with SEN in accessing the curriculum and classroom activities
*
Assisting with implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and personalised strategies
*
Providing one-to-one and small group support during lessons and interventions
*
Helping to create a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment
*
Supporting pupils’ communication, behaviour, and social skills development
*
Working collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals

Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting
