Job Description
* Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices and purchase orders.
* Support the reconciliation of bank statements and financial records.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
* Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
* Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for internal use.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
* Communicate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders regarding financial queries.
* Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* A strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
* Experience using accounting software and tools.
* A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A proactive and problem-solving approach to work.
* Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance (desirable but not essential).
