An independent day and boarding preparatory school for boys aged 6–13 in Ascot, catering for approximately 300 students and staff daily. The school offers meals including breakfast, AM snack, lunch, PM snack, supper, and match teas, with hospitality events throughout the year. This is a term-time-only contract, operating Monday to Sunday, with a 5-day work pattern per week. The location benefits from free on-site parking.
We are seeking a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at our prestigious Ascot location.
You should have previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level. You will enjoy working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus, allowing you to showcase your creativity and skills.
Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with a team of chefs to provide catering for pupils and teachers
* Preparing food from scratch using fresh ingredients, following brand standards
* Maintaining food standards and controlling wastage
* Adhering to Food Hygiene, Health & Safety policies, and allergen control procedures
Desired skills:
* A genuine interest in food and excellent customer service

* Understanding of food costs and wastage management
Knowledge and competencies:
* Good verbal and written English skills
* Experience in customer service or food preparation environments is preferred
